GymnaX on Wheels

The GymnaX Inclusion Van is a mobile movement project created to bring adapted gymnastics sessions directly to children with SEND across West Sussex.

In our regular classes, smaller group sizes and limited staffing mean we aren’t always able to offer the one-to-one support some children need. But we believe those children still deserve the chance to move, play, and thrive.

That’s why we’re launching this project - to remove barriers and deliver inclusive, joyful movement sessions in schools and centres, led by trained coaches and tailored to each child’s needs. Every child should feel welcome, supported, and able to experience the joy of movement - no exceptions.

What makes GymnaX unique?

Because the method embraces simple exercises and removes the need for hefty fitness equipment, it can be incorporated into any Physical Education class. The versatility of the method also enables and encourages the participation of all children. Ultimately the method makes the job of teachers easier. It not only guides but provides concrete advice on how to organise classes and seamlessly implement gymnastics into the PE curriculum.
